For an Emergency Dial
9-1-1
Call, don’t text 9-1-1
In an emergency, 9-1-1 can’t receive your text, but your call could save a life.
Texts don’t reach 9-1-1
– and it could take minutes,
even hours for a text to be received by a friend.
So call 9-1-1.
Even if you can’t talk,
your call can be used to find you.
So in an emergency call,
don’t text 9-1-1
